In collaboration with the Ordre des Acupuncteurs du Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>TARGET AUDIENCE<\/h2>\n<p>This training is intended for acupuncturists who are members of the OAQ and who wish to acquire the knowledge to treat pregnant women optimally and safely in their clinic.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Content of the training:<\/h2>\n<p>1- How did the Nei Jing, an ancient Chinese medicine compendium, describe the meridians and their organization?<\/p>\n<p>2- How are fascias and connective tissues organized, what is their function and composition?<\/p>\n<p>3- How can we understand the tendon-muscle meridians in the light of current research on fascia and connective tissue?<\/p>\n<p>4- How can we understand the main meridians and acupuncture points in light of current research on fascia and connective tissue?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Course Objectives:<\/h2>\n<p>&#8211; Become familiar with the fascia, connective tissue and interstitial system.<br \/>\n&#8211; Draw parallels between the anatomical and physiological reality of fascia and the meridians as described in the Nei Jing.<br \/>\n&#8211; Integrate the language of fascia, its organization, physiology and pathologies into clinical practice.<br \/>\n&#8211; Review the basic concepts of TCM (Meridians, Qi, Xue, Etc.) in light of the Nei Jing texts and fascia research.<br \/>\n&#8211; To have an overview of the clinical strategies oriented towards the treatment of fascias by the tools and system of TCM.<br \/>\n&#8211; To develop a current language to popularize the practice of acupuncture to other health disciplines and to the public.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; GENERAL OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE This course is an introduction to the fascinating world of fascia and a return to the classical texts in order to help acupuncturists understand their work in a contemporary language and to popularize their practice with other health disciplines and the public.
